Is Storyteld free?
Yes. The full news feed is free and ad-supported. A single Premium subscription removes ads and unlocks audio summaries, AI chat with the news, Wikipedia facts, and Today in History.
Where do the stories come from?
We aggregate from trusted RSS feeds of credited news publishers, with a strong focus on Uganda and East Africa alongside world news. Every summary links back to the original article.
Are the summaries written by AI?
Yes. Each story is summarised into one neutral paragraph by AI and is clearly labelled as AI-generated. We never invent details and always attribute claims to the source — please verify with the original article.
Do you republish full articles?
No. We only store a short blurb and generate a brief summary, then link readers straight to the publisher for the full story.
How do you personalise my feed?
For signed-in users we tune the feed to what you read, save, and the interests you pick in settings. You stay in control — adjust your interests any time.
How do I save stories?
Tap the heart on any story when signed in. Saved stories live on your Saved page.
How do I cancel Premium?
Open Settings and use “Manage billing & invoices” to cancel, update your card, or download invoices through our secure billing portal.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet — iOS and Android apps are coming soon. In the meantime, Storyteld works great in your mobile browser.
I’m a publisher — can you remove my publication?
Absolutely. Follow the steps on our publisher removal page and we’ll honour your request.
