This announcement was made in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, who dismissed the claims surrounding the matter.

Human rights lawyer Inibehe Effiong has questioned the legitimacy of a so-called 'ghost agency' linked to Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the president, which allegedly operated an account with the Central Bank of Nigeria and secured office space at the Federal Secretariat. Effiong expressed his concerns during a guest appearance on Saturday, labeling the situation as 'ridiculous' and 'preposterous'.
