The Hand in Hand Eastern Africa – Tanzania (HIHEA) organization has officially launched its office in Iringa and commenced the Inua 2 project, which aims to economically uplift 8,000 citizens through entrepreneurship, agriculture, and modern livestock farming. During the launch event, Elias Luvanda, the Acting Regional Administrative Secretary of Iringa, highlighted the government's support for the initiative.

The Tanzania Tourism Board (TTB) has stated that the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba) serves as an important platform for promoting domestic tourism, showcasing tourist attractions, and preparing stakeholders to benefit from various opportunities, including the upcoming AFCON tournament next year. Naomi Mbilinyi, an official, spoke at the event.

Rashid Chuachua, the District Commissioner of Kigoma, emphasized the importance of maritime safety for sailors and transport vessels on Lake Tanganyika, stating it is crucial for the lake to remain a key driver of economic production and development for the Kigoma region and the nation. His remarks were made during a rescue operation exercise involving security forces and the Tanzania Maritime Agency's search and rescue boat.

The Tanzania Fertilizer Regulatory Authority (TFRA) utilized the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba) to educate stakeholders about its roles and opportunities in the fertilizer sector, including the importation, manufacturing, and distribution value chain. On July 4, 2026, TFRA's Southern Highlands Regional Manager, Joshua Ng’ondya, highlighted the importance of proper fertilizer use, soil testing, and the registration process to benefit from the fertilizer program.

David Kafulila, the Director of the Public-Private Partnership Centre, stated that the government is progressing with the development of a partnership with the private sector for the construction of the Tunduma–Igawa–Mbeya road. This initiative is expected to enhance transportation infrastructure and improve economic efficiency.

Tanzania and Russia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the tourism sector, aiming to strengthen relations and increase opportunities for tourism, trade, and investment. This agreement coincides with the launch of direct flights by Air Tanzania (ATCL) connecting Moscow with mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar, facilitating travel for tourists and businesspeople between the two markets. The inaugural flight was attended by Tanzania's Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr. Ashatu Kijaji.
