The Tanzania Tourism Board (TTB) has stated that the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba) serves as an important platform for promoting domestic tourism, showcasing tourist attractions, and preparing stakeholders to benefit from various opportunities, including the upcoming AFCON tournament next year. Naomi Mbilinyi, an official, spoke at the event.

Khalid Hamed Al Barwani, a tourism promoter from Oman, has been officially appointed as the Honorary Tourism Ambassador for Tanzania. This appointment is expected to enhance the country's tourism promotion efforts and increase the number of visitors, following his previous work in promoting the Sao Hill Forest after visiting in 2024. The official handover took place in Dar es Salaam.

Tanzania and Russia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the tourism sector, aiming to strengthen relations and increase opportunities for tourism, trade, and investment. This agreement coincides with the launch of direct flights by Air Tanzania (ATCL) connecting Moscow with mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar, facilitating travel for tourists and businesspeople between the two markets. The inaugural flight was attended by Tanzania's Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr. Ashatu Kijaji.

Namibia's President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is on an official visit to Tanzania, reflecting the long-standing and close relationship between the two nations. This historic visit aims to strengthen cooperation in political, economic, and social areas for the benefit of both countries. Tanzania and Namibia have established a solid diplomatic relationship at bilateral, regional, and international levels, rooted in their shared history during the struggle for independence.

Chuo cha Mipango ya Maendeleo Vijijini kimejipanga kutekeleza Dira ya Taifa ya Maendeleo 2050 kwa kuzalisha watumishi wenye weledi kupitia ufundishaji, tafiti, na kuandaa wataalamu. Mkuu wa chuo, Profesa Hozen Mayaya, alieleza kuwa chuo kinaendelea kuandaa rasilimali watu wenye ujuzi na uwezo wa kufanya kazi katika taasisi za serikali na sekta binafsi, akisisitiza umuhimu wa rasilimali watu katika kufanikisha Dira hiyo.
