Tanzania is continuing to invest in the maritime sector, which is creating more job and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth through training provided by the Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute (DMI). This was stated by the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Planning, Finance, and Administration during the ongoing Public Service Week exhibitions in Dodoma.

A new fertiliser plant by TFC in Dar es Salaam aims to address the challenges faced by Tanzanian farmers, including declining soil fertility and rising fertiliser costs. Experts have noted that using the appropriate type of fertiliser is crucial for enhancing productivity and managing production expenses. This development is seen as a potential boost for the agricultural sector in Tanzania.
