The National Police Service has intensified its investigation into violent attacks that took place on July 3, 2026, along the Kisii–Keroka Road in Keumbu. In a statement, the police confirmed the arrest of several individuals and the summoning of Nyaribari Chache Member of Parliament Zaheer Jhanda in connection with the incident.
