The Kwara chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has initiated efforts to mobilize support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027, coinciding with the celebration of successful primaries, according to Punch.

Former members of the now-defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) who are currently in Nigeria's ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have declared support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima's 2027 re-election ticket. According to the Leadership report, the group, operating under the Association of Former ANPP Members, is simultaneously demanding that the APC's presidential slot be ceded to the ANPP bloc in the 2031 election cycle.

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State held a rally to express gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and the party leadership. The event took place on Sunday and was part of the party's efforts to show appreciation ahead of the 2027 elections.

Speaking on why Nigerians should consider the APM presidential ticket, Daura said he and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde share a similar passion for Nigeria centred on resetting the country. The comments were made ahead of Nigeria's 2027 general election.
