Three offices linked to President William Ruto spent 33 billion Kenyan shillings in the year ending June 2026, the highest amount ever spent by top government officials' offices, according to a new Treasury report cited by Taifa Leo. Spending by the offices of President Ruto, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has reached 100.23 billion shillings since Kenya Kwanza took power in 2022, surpassing the 89.9 billion spent under predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta over ten years.

In the 2026/2027 budget, women, youth, and people with special needs in Tanzania will see an increase in loan allocations from 10% to 15%. Mary Chatanda, the Chairperson of the Tanzania Women’s Union and a special seat MP, stated on June 23, 2026, in Dodoma that President Samia Suluhu Hassan is committed to supporting these groups both in words and actions, which is reflected in the budget increase.

Stanbic Bank Tanzania has donated TZS 20 million to support the Medical and Surgical Camps program of the East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC). This funding aims to provide free medical and surgical services to communities in need during camps scheduled for July 2026. The donation was presented by Stanbic Bank Tanzania's CEO, Mr. Manzi Rwegasira, to ECSA-HC's Director General, Dr. Ntuli Angyelile Kapologwe.
