Babu Owino has accused Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo of employing thugs to interfere with Gen Z protests occurring in Nairobi and Kisumu. This allegation comes amid escalating tensions and security concerns surrounding the protests.

A court has issued an arrest warrant for former NEDP official Daniel Onsomu, who is facing charges of fraud. According to reports, he allegedly obtained Sh2.05 million from Daniel Nyakundi Osiemo between September 8 and October 6, 2022. The case is being heard at the Kibera Chief Magistrate’s Court.

Nyaribari Chache MP Zaheer Jhanda has been summoned as police expand their investigation into political violence in Kisii. According to Eastleigh Voice, seven suspects have already been arrested during a security operation conducted by the Officer Commanding Station at Keumbu and detectives from the Kisii Central Directorate of Criminal Investigations.

Forty-five suspects were charged at the Ngong court in Kajiado for unlawful assembly and blocking President William Ruto's convoy. The suspects appeared before Chief Magistrate Ariba Kutwa, where five women pleaded guilty while 40 men maintained their innocence. Each suspect was granted a bond of Ksh.100,000 or an alternative cash bail of the same amount. Reports indicate that the group obstructed the convoy after arriving by buses and matatus from a fundraiser at the Nkarusa SDA Church.
