The Nigerian Navy has discovered a hidden illegal fuel storage site in Rivers State, recovering around 11,800 litres of suspected illegally refined Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), commonly referred to as diesel. The Nigerian Navy says it has dismantled an illegal recruitment and training scheme operating outside recognised legal frameworks in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
