A 22-year-old suspect in Delta has been arrested by police for allegedly staging his own kidnapping. According to the police commissioner, the individual left home under the pretext of disposing of refuse before orchestrating the incident.

A 47-year-old teacher, Mrs Dim Ebere, has surrendered to police in Anambra State, Nigeria, after being accused of flogging a 12-year-old pupil to death.
