President Bola Tinubu stated that Nigeria is establishing a foundation for prosperity through critical infrastructure projects. The Federal Government of Nigeria has initiated the reconstruction of the Dikwa-Ngala and Bama-Banki roads in Borno State, emphasizing its commitment to rebuilding infrastructure in the North-East. Governor Uba Sani has launched an erosion control project that will affect residents in the Rigasa to Tudun Wada wards of Igabi and Kaduna South local governments. As part of the initiative, he distributed cheques totaling approximately N2 billion to 1,000 individuals whose homes will be impacted by the project.

Nigeria, along with Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, and Benin Republic, has launched the Abidjan–Lagos Corridor Management Authority. This new regional body is tasked with overseeing the development and operation of the $16 billion coastal highway project, which aims to connect major economic hubs in West Africa.
