The Delta State Police Command, under CP Yemi John Oyeniyi, arrested 202 suspects during an intelligence-led operation targeting criminal hideouts in Asaba. The Lagos police conducted a raid on a criminal hideout in Alimosho, resulting in the arrest of several suspects. During the operation, they set fire to a large dump site that residents believed was being used by armed robbers and hardened criminals, according to Vanguard.
