A new survey by research firm TIFA has found that 56 per cent of crime victims in Kenya do not report cases, attributing the low reporting rate to police inefficiency. According to the findings, the South Rift region recorded the highest proportion of crime victims at 14 per cent, followed by Nairobi and Lower Eastern at 13 per cent each. Mt Kenya and Western regions each recorded 10 per cent, while Nyanza recorded eight per cent of crime victims.
