DStv Kenya is set to restructure its subscription packages in November 2026, according to Tech-ish. The Premium bouquet will reportedly drop to KES 7,300, a reduction of up to KES 4,400, while the two Compact tiers will be merged into a single KES 3,000 package. MultiChoice has overhauled its DStv packages, introducing standalone sport and movies subscriptions alongside expanded access to premium channels and live football. Kenya's pay TV market experienced a decline of 85,177 subscribers from January to March 2026, with GOtv losing the most subscribers. In contrast, StarTimes and Azam reported growth during the same period, according to Tech-ish.

MultiChoice has introduced a new 24-hour sports channel called SportyTV, available on selected DStv and GOtv packages. This channel will provide subscribers with access to a variety of live sports, including football, basketball, and combat sports, as well as news and analysis.
