Speaking at Africa Oil Week (AOW) 2026, Ogbe said the continent should create greater value from its natural resources and position African businesses to compete globally, according to The Tide. The remarks highlight Nigeria's push for stronger local content and industrial growth in the energy sector.

Nigeria's Federal Government has announced plans to transform the long-delayed National Library of Nigeria into a world-class facility modelled after the National Library of Qatar. According to the Daily Trust, the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, disclosed the plan in Abuja during a meeting with contractors, consultants and National Library officials, where he directed stakeholders to meet delivery expectations for the project.
