NMB Bank has enhanced access to digital insurance services through the Umebima Mini App, which is integrated into the NMB Mkononi application, allowing customers to easily purchase insurance via their mobile phones. During a press conference at the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, known as Sabasaba, Martin Massawe, Head of the Insurance Department at NMB, stated that this service aligns with the fair's theme, "Tanzania's Businesses Going Digital."

The NMB Bank was awarded a prize for being a significant contributor to government revenue after handing over Sh96.9 billion to the government, recognizing its role in enhancing national income and supporting development projects. The award was presented by President Samia Suluhu Hassan during a ceremony at the State House in Dar es Salaam on June 30, 2026. NMB was represented by its Board Chairman, CPA David Carol Nchimbi, and CEO Ruth Zaipuna.

Stanbic Bank Tanzania has donated TZS 20 million to support the Medical and Surgical Camps program of the East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC). This funding aims to provide free medical and surgical services to communities in need during camps scheduled for July 2026. The donation was presented by Stanbic Bank Tanzania's CEO, Mr. Manzi Rwegasira, to ECSA-HC's Director General, Dr. Ntuli Angyelile Kapologwe.

The Director General of the Trade Development Authority (TanTrade), Dr. Latifa Khamis, announced that the 50th Sabasaba exhibition will feature 3,752 local exhibitors, an increase from 3,670 last year, with participation from 23 countries. The exhibition is scheduled to take place from June 28 to July 13, 2026, and expectations for further growth in participation are high, according to the announcement.
