Nigeria’s Flamingos secured a 3-2 victory against Benin Republic in the first leg of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup final qualifying round at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne. Benin initially took the lead with a goal from Yenido Romaine Gandonou in the 14th minute, but the Flamingos managed to come back and win the match.
