The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is encouraging employers with outstanding contributions to take advantage of a fee waiver offered by the Fund. This initiative aims to expand the scope of social security in the country by motivating self-employed individuals to join the Social Security Scheme. More than 200 youths from 61 villages surrounding the Sao Hill National Forest in Mufindi, Iringa region, have completed special training to combat forest fire disasters. This initiative aims to strengthen the protection of forest resources and the environment. The training followed a recruitment process involving over 400 youths who underwent physical and mental assessments to qualify for the forest fire response team, ensuring a robust workforce for this effort.
