This was announced by Dr. Kedmon Mapana, Deputy Secretary in the Office of the President for Youth Development, during the official launch of a special camp for the selection of 100 top youth candidates.

The Kigoma Ujiji Municipality in Kigoma region is reportedly facing a decline in moral standards, prompting Mayor Mussa Maulid to urge residents to actively combat any actions that indicate moral decay. Jovan Revelian, a Form Three student at Bishop Bikira Secondary School in Nyakato, Kagera, has died by suicide in his dormitory using a bed sheet. According to local police commander Blasius Chatanda, Jovan took this action due to stress from being required to stay at school after failing his exams. He was among students retained to help those with lower scores improve their performance.
