TANESCO, the Tanzania Electric Supply Company, is encouraging citizens to visit its booth at the 50th International Trade Fair in Dar es Salaam, known as Sabasaba, to explore various modern technologies aimed at enhancing electricity usage safely, efficiently, and affordably. Irene Gowele, TANESCO's Director of Communications and Customer Services, highlighted the innovative aspects of this year's exhibition during a press conference at the Julius Nyerere grounds.

The Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) has launched a modern safety house designed to enhance home safety by reducing the risks of disasters such as fires and other accidents caused by electrical faults. This announcement was made during the 50th International Trade Fair in Dar es Salaam by the Director of Communications and Services.

Tanzania is making significant preparations to begin utilizing nuclear energy for electricity generation, following various steps outlined by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). According to IAEA guidelines, the country must implement 19 components across three phases before officially starting electricity production.
