The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has distanced itself from a truck bearing markings associated with the company after the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency intercepted it in Ondo State with 2,145 kilogrammes of cannabis concealed in a compartment. According to Vanguard, NNPCL made the denial in a statement issued by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, disowning the vehicle following the drug seizure.
