Rais wa Namibia, Dkt. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, anatarajiwa kuwasili nchini Tanzania tarehe 19 Juni 2026 kwa ziara ya kitaifa, ambayo ni ya pili tangu aingie madarakani mwaka 2024. Katika ziara hiyo, atafanya mazungumzo na Rais Samia Suluhu Hassan kuhusu ushirikiano wa pande mbili na masuala ya kikanda na kimataifa. Aidha, atatembelea eneo la Magomeni Mwembechai jijini Dar es Salaam, ambapo aliishi miaka ya 1980.

Namibia's President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is on an official visit to Tanzania, reflecting the long-standing and close relationship between the two nations. This historic visit aims to strengthen cooperation in political, economic, and social areas for the benefit of both countries. Tanzania and Namibia have established a solid diplomatic relationship at bilateral, regional, and international levels, rooted in their shared history during the struggle for independence.

During official talks at State House in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu Hassan and Namibia’s President Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah pledged to strengthen economic partnerships between their countries. This commitment was made during Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah's three-day state visit to Tanzania, which began on June 19, 2026.

Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, amezindua rasmi Jengo la Tiba ya Mionzi kwa Wagonjwa wa Saratani katika Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC). Uzinduzi huu unatarajiwa kuimarisha huduma za matibabu ya saratani na kupanua upatikanaji wa huduma za kibingwa nchini. Hatua hii ni sehemu ya jitihada za Serikali ya Awamu ya Sita za kuboresha sekta ya afya kwa kuwekeza katika miundombinu ya kisasa.
