Entebbe UPPC FC is in advanced negotiations to sign offensive midfielder Ibrahim Mugulusi from BUL FC, whose contract expired last month. Mugulusi is seeking a new challenge after spending six years with BUL FC, having previously joined from Busoga United in 2020.

Free agent Bright Vuni has agreed to terms with newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Ntugasaze, according to Swift Sports Uganda. Vuni, who was previously with URA FC, is set to sign a two-year deal with the club following the expiration of his contract at the end of last season.

UPDF FC, a team in the Uganda Premier League, has approved an annual budget of Ug.Shs 3.8 billion for the 2026/2027 season during their Annual meeting held at Ndere Cultural Centre in Kampala. The budget will support both the men's and women's teams of UPDF FC.
