Alisisitiza kuwa saratani si hukumu ya kifo iwapo itabainika mapema na mgonjwa kupata matibabu sahihi. Rais Samia alitoa kauli hiyo wakati wa uzinduzi wa Jengo la Tiba ya Mionzi kwa Wagonjwa wa Saratani katika Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre, akionyesha kuwa Serikali inaendelea kuwekeza katika sekta ya afya.

President Samia Suluhu Hassan announced plans to expand cancer treatment services to improve public access and alleviate patient burdens. During the inauguration of a new radiotherapy unit, she also called for research into the rising cases of cancer and heart diseases among children.
