Benki ya NMB imetangaza udhamini wa Sh milioni 150 kwa msimu wa nane wa Mashindano ya Kombe la Mkuu wa Majeshi—CDF Cup 2026, yatakayofanyika Dar es Salaam kuanzia Julai 6 hadi 17. Mashindano haya yatashirikisha michezo 13 na timu kutoka sehemu mbalimbali za JWTZ. Aikansia Muro, Mkuu wa Idara ya Wateja Binafsi wa NMB, alisema udhamini huu unaimarisha ushirikiano kati ya benki na majeshi katika kukuza michezo.

Secondary school principals in Kenya are advocating for an increase in school fees, citing that the existing funding model is inadequate due to economic changes and the costs associated with the Competency-Based Education (CBE). They propose a unit-cost formula to determine fees based on the actual expenses for services per student, which include tuition, meals, and accommodation. Currently, the government allocates a flat capitation grant of Sh22,244 per learner annually for secondary education.
