Kenya Power has invested Ksh 765 million in two new electricity substations aimed at improving the quality and reliability of power supply in Kwale and Kilifi counties. According to the utility firm, the Bomani 132/33kV substation in Kilifi County, which is nearing completion, is being constructed at a cost of Ksh 455 million and will serve customers in the coastal region once operational.

The expansion of Suneka Airstrip in Bonchari Constituency, Kisii County is scheduled to commence next week following the appointment of a new contractor, as stated by Internal Security and National Administration Principal Secretary Dr. Raymond Omollo.
