The Jigawa State Executive Council has approved a review of the 2026 Appropriation Law alongside a proposed supplementary budget, raising the state's total budget by N46.369 billion. According to the Commissioner of Information, Sagir Ahmad Musa, who disclosed the decision on Tuesday, September 8, the adjustment increases the originally approved 2026 budget from N901.841 billion to N948.210 billion.
