The Women Action Towards Economic Development (WATED) participated in the 50th International Trade Fair in Dar es Salaam, collaborating with GIZ as a sponsor to present results from an eight-month project that collected narratives from survivors of sexual gender-based violence in Tanga, Dodoma (Bahi District), and Dar es Salaam. Maria Matui from WATED stated that the aim of gathering these stories is to stimulate community discussions on social challenges contributing to gender-based violence.
