The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is encouraging employers with outstanding contributions to take advantage of a fee waiver offered by the Fund. This initiative aims to expand the scope of social security in the country by motivating self-employed individuals to join the Social Security Scheme. The call was made during the 50th International Trade Fair in Dar es Salaam.

A total of 1,940 citizens received free eye examinations and medical advice at the MIXX booth during the 50th International Trade Fair in Dar es Salaam, according to Patrick Martine, an eye specialist from the Bilal Muslim Institute. The initiative provided eye health assessments and free glasses based on individual needs, with 41 individuals identified as having vision problems.
