According to Swift Sports Uganda, Kitara FC is nearing a deal to sign SC Villa forward Charles Lwanga, who is currently a free agent after his contract with the Uganda Premier League champions expired. The move is reported to be close to completion.

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club has successfully signed forward Charles Lwanga, who was previously a free agent from Sports Club Villa. Lwanga was initially set to join Kitara but KCCA intensified their efforts to secure his signature before the agreement was finalized with Kitara.

Bashir "Bust" Ssemuyaba is reportedly close to joining the backroom coaching staff at Lugazi Football Club, having verbally agreed with the club management. According to Kawowo Sports, the final step is for Ssemuyaba to sign the employment documentation, indicating that negotiations are nearly complete.

KCCA FC has successfully secured the signing of Charles Lwanga, who returns to the club after leaving for SC Villa in July 2023. Lwanga joins KCCA as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with SC Villa.

Lugazi FC is reportedly in advanced discussions to hire Bastu Ssemuyaba, a former assistant coach at URA FC, to enhance their coaching staff. Ssemuyaba is expected to serve as an assistant to Abbey Kikomeko for the upcoming 2026/27 season, following Kikomeko's appointment after Simon Peter's departure.
