The Tanzanian government is preparing policy and legal reforms to enhance access to loans for young entrepreneurs by improving the loan guarantee system and allowing the use of movable collateral. This announcement was made by Prime Minister Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba during a ceremony in Dar es Salaam, where winners of the 'Vijana Uchumi Challenge' were recognized and awarded. The initiative aims to place youth at the forefront of the economic agenda.

Tanzania's Ambassador to Algeria, Mobhare Matinyi, met with Algeria's Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Dr. Wassim Kouidri, in Algiers to discuss strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the pharmaceutical and medical equipment sectors.
