Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi inaugurated the State Strategic Command Headquarters, known as the "Octagon," in the New Capital east of Cairo. The Egyptian presidency reported that during the inauguration speech, Sisi referred to the new command as "a towering national edifice."
