The Court of Appeal in Abuja has adjourned the hearing of an appeal regarding the deregistration of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Accord Party, and three other political parties until July 7. The adjournment allows the involved parties to file and exchange their briefs of argument before the substantive hearing takes place.

Dare Bejide, the governorship candidate for the African Democratic Congress in the Ekiti State election, has alleged incidents of vote buying and physical assault at his polling unit in Ilawe-Ekiti. He made these claims while addressing a team of police officers on patrol in the area, according to African Examiner.
