The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has expressed its support for Morocco following the Atlas Lions' advancement to the knockout stage of the World Cup, marking a significant achievement in African football history. This endorsement comes as Morocco aims for further success in the tournament.

Morocco's national football team, known as the Atlas Lions, has made history by becoming the first African team to qualify for the Round of 32 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. As a result of this achievement, Morocco will receive KSh 1.6 billion in prize money.
