The Senate in Abuja passed the Constitution Amendment Bill on State Police during its second reading on Wednesday. Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele initiated a motion to suspend Senate rules to expedite the consideration of the executive bill aimed at providing constitutional support for state police services.
