The Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP), led by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, has welcomed a new group of defectors from the Jubilee Party in Laikipia County during a sensitization meeting in Rumuruti town. The event was presided over by Laikipia County Secretary Wahome Koinange and senior DCP official Hezron Obaga. Notable defectors include Charles Ndegwa, Virginiah Wahome, and Stephen Losiagol, who are reportedly close allies of former Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi.
