Several individuals were injured when a vehicle from President William Ruto's motorcade collided with a lorry in Mutunduri, Embu County, along the Embu–Meru Highway. The incident caused panic among local motorists and residents as the presidential convoy was passing through the area. According to witnesses, the escort vehicle was speeding at the time of the accident.
