According to NACA, Nigeria is now better equipped to handle future pandemics due to strategic investments made through the Global Fund’s COVID-19 Response Mechanism, which have strengthened the country's pandemic response capabilities.

A national close-out meeting on COVID-19 response mechanism investments in Nigeria is set to take place in Abuja, organized by NACA, the Global Fund, and other partners. The event will gather representatives from the Federal Ministry of Health, state governments, civil society organizations, and healthcare workers who were involved in the C19RM grant implementation from 2021 to 2025.
