Morocco midfielder Ismael Saibari became the first African player to score three goals in a single World Cup since Ghana's Asamoah Gyan in 2010. This achievement occurred during Morocco's 4-2 victory over Haiti at Atlanta Stadium in the 2026 World Cup. Saibari, aged 25, has now scored three goals in the tournament.
