The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reported that it has received over N500 billion, which constitutes more than 50 percent of the budget allocated for the 2027 general elections. INEC Commissioner for Information and Voter Education, Mohammed Haruna, made this announcement during an interview with Arise News, discussing the commission's readiness and funding for the upcoming elections.
