Niger Republic has officially withdrawn from the International Criminal Court (ICC) and revoked its signature of the Rome Statute as of June 23, 2026. This decision makes Niger the third country to exit the ICC, following the Philippines and Burundi. The government cited concerns over what it describes as selective justice in the ICC's operations as the primary reason for its departure.
