Former Inspector-General of Police, Sulaiman Abba, has officially left the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and announced his intention to run for the Jigawa Central Senatorial seat in the upcoming 2027 general election. He made this announcement during a speech to party supporters and stakeholders in Bamaina, his hometown.
