The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) officially launched the Insurance Village during the 50th anniversary of the International Trade Fair in Dar es Salaam, known as Saba Saba. The event was led by Insurance Commissioner Dr. Baghayo Saqware and attended by insurance company leaders, brokers, service providers, and various stakeholders in the insurance sector. The Insurance Village serves as an annual platform organized by TIRA to provide the public with insurance education, professional advice, and various services.
