The High Court has ordered Uganda Christian University (UCU) to pay UGX 100 million after it blocked law student Samantha Mwesigye's graduation, claiming she had unfinished coursework from her first year. Mwesigye, who transferred from King’s College London, had completed her LLB over four years and was set to graduate in July 2026. The court ruled the university's actions were illegal, as reported on June 12, 2026.
