Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, welcomed Vice President Kashim Shettima in Port Harcourt on Sunday. Shettima is in the state to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 163rd Nigeria Army Day Celebration, with the grand finale of the event scheduled for Monday, July 6, 2026.

The Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, visited former Prime Minister and First Vice President Judge Joseph Sinde Warioba at his residence in Mbezi Juu, Dar es Salaam, to check on his well-being.
