A boy has been admitted to the University of Ibadan after achieving outstanding results in both his WAEC and JAMB examinations, allowing him to pursue a major course in Medicine at the institution.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has reassured candidates regarding the 2026 Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) results, stating that the challenges faced during the examination will not impact the results. This announcement comes after candidates experienced difficulties while taking the Mathematics and Agricultural Science papers in various states.
