Chinese engineers have initiated an assessment of Nigeria's Warri Refining and Petrochemicals Company, with the goal of modernizing the facility to improve profitability and decrease petroleum production costs. This effort is part of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation's (NNPC) plans to revamp the refinery.
