Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has pledged his administration's commitment to safeguarding the rights and dignity of women and children by implementing stronger policies and fostering collaboration. He made this statement during a meeting with a delegation from the Nigerian Governors’ Spouses Forum (NGSF) who visited for advocacy purposes on Saturday in Katsina, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

The Lagos State Government has issued a warning to founders and operators of orphanages to adhere to approved operational standards and regulatory requirements. This measure aims to enhance child protection and ensure the welfare of vulnerable children. The government stated that failure to comply could result in sanctions.
