Yusuf Adigun, a suspected cultist, was arrested in Lagos with a pistol and a live cartridge. According to PM News, Adigun claimed that he and other members of his cult group, who remain at large, were planning to attack certain individuals before being intercepted by the police.

Two first-year students at Prince Abubakar Audu University in Kogi State, Fidelis Atuluku and Monday Okolo, have been arrested for alleged involvement in cult-related activities. Their arrest follows recent security breaches on the university campus, and they are both enrolled in the Department of Social Studies Education within the Faculty of Education. The arrests were made by the university's joint security team on Tuesday.
